Well folks, I went to the OB yesterday and he said he would induce me a week early, which means that I am having this baby a week from tomorrow! Just having that date in mind totally takes the pressure off, you know? I no longer feel like a walking time bomb. And since I have still never gone into labor on my own, I don't have to worry about sitting around freakishly timing every teeny tiny contraction, which apparently I have a tendency to do.

My brother and his wife had a cute little bundle of a baby boy two weeks ago and he is a doll face. Pictures do not do him justice. It has only increased my desire to hold my little lass.

Emma was so excited the day the baby was born and kept wanting to go see the baby "come out of Sachele's tummy." I told her repeatedly that we could not do that and after she badgered me about why not for 10 minutes I finally blurted out in frustration, "Because, the baby comes out of her whoo whoo and she doesn't want everybody staring at it!!" I immediately regretted saying it - I knew a barrage of questions that I didn't want to answer would follow.
Emma looked like she had been slapped and then said, "That's disgusting. That's where the poop and the pee comes out." And then there were the questions about if the Dr. looked at Sachele's whoo whoo and if Uncle Mikey looked at it and if the baby got poop on it...sheesh. Me and my big mouth.
