Tis the season

Last night we put up our Christmas tree and decorated it for Family Home Evening. Emma was tickled pink! She was dancing all over and kept saying, "It's the gingle (jingle) bells!" She placed and re-placed every decoration to the point that I had to tell her she is not allowed to touch them anymore.

And then today she knocked the whole thing over! I caught her standing close to the tree and reminded her it was just to look at and not to touch. I then stepped out of the room for about 10 seconds when I heard a huge crash. Fortunately it didn't land on her and nothing broke. That was one of those times I didn't have the heart to punish her too much because she was already scared to death!

This is the first year she has kind of understood what is going on. I say kind of because she keeps looking at all the Christmas decorations and saying "Happy Halloween!" We'll get it straight one of these days.
