...was Emma sticking a Nerd up her nose. Poor child was crying and crying and I could not stop laughing. She doesn't know how to blow her nose, so that wasn't getting it out. She kept saying, "I didn't know it was going up there," which I find interesting since she must have
put it there. Eventually she whined about it long enough that her nose kept running and the thing just fell out. I have to say that I LOVE Nerds and my favorite flavors are the Cherry/Watermelon combos and I get a little irritated because most stores only carry the Strawberry/Grape combo.

My second favorite thing was Emma trying to stop Matthew from getting her stuff. She wrapped her arms around him from behind and pulled. Well, she only outweighs him by about 6 lbs, and they toppled to the ground together and he was actually pinning her down for a minute there. Sigh. Sibling rivalry. You gotta' love it.

That's funny. Just the other day, I had to have Lyena show Spencer how to blow his nose. Stuart loves Nerds too. Do you remember Nerds cereal way back when? I told Stuart about it and he got quite excited. Personally, too sweet for me.
I'm glad that you as the mom were laughing so I won't feel bad laughing, too. :-)
At least she has good taste. Nothing but the best for Emma's nose! I seem to recall that you put a bean up your nose when you were about her age. If you are going to be sticking things up your nose, at least choose something sweet and good-smelling! Thank goodness it came out of it's own accord and you didn't have to go see a doctor as well as an Ear/nose/throat specialist like we did with Jacob. Seriously not fun!
So, Matt and I were sitting down to dinner to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary when Matt's mom called us on the cell. She said we might have a little problem. Landon stuck a pony bead up his nose...
The last picture looks identical to the postitions my 6 and 3 year old are in numerous times a day! The 3 year can fight back though!
colin loves nerds too.
but he prefers the christmas mix they have, and usually not stuck up his nose...
My fav combo of nerds too. I was expecting you to say you had to use one of those nose grabber things from the movie 'one fine day'.
Oh boy that was funny. Emma is such a character!

Amanda,
I miss you and your kids! This is so cute. I almost died laughing at the story about Matthew saying "Hello Jesus". You guys are in my prayers and I hope it won't be too much longer until you and Johnny are together again!

Amy
