One of THOSE Days

I know that I have a greater purpose in life than cleaning up other people's bodily fluids.

It just doesn't feel like it.

Because:

This morning Matthew peed all over the floor, and then said quietly, "I peed."

This afternoon the cat barfed all over the couch.

And this afternoon we changed Emma's pump site and when we took the old one out it just kept bleeding and bleeding. Through a bandaid, through her underbooksies...

And so it goes.

It's because your purpose is so great that you are willing and able to do all that. You are a mighty mother and I think you are great.

I am so sorry that it has been one of those days for you. Call me if you need anything or if you are having one of those days again. We could take the kids to the park or you could even come out here and play. Sorry! Hope tomorrow is better!

Oh how I relate right now... except that mine is all coming from the same little source. I told Tom that I needed to start showering at night because there was no time to do it during the day, but then I remembered that by morning I'm usually covered in pee, breast milk, and quite often baby poop (how do they know to do that in the 3 seconds in which a diaper is not covering their little bottoms?). I forgot about the excess of bodily fluids and now remember why it's useless to wear anything except sweats and ratty t-shirts.

At least I don't have a cat. Cat barf is gross. I'm sorry you had to clean it up.

You are awesome! I was just trying to decide the other day if I would rather clean up vomit or take all four kids shoe shopping. I never did resolve that one!

What a good mom. ONe time on a drive home from UT, in a 30 min window. The Dog barfed. Jonathan had an accident, and then the dog pooped, and then when we (jayson) were cleaning it up, Ashley's diaper had leaked. I can relate sister!!
