Emma

It is difficult for me to describe the many and varied ways that my little Emma delights me...day after day. And maybe Jonny and I are the only ones that find her overwhelmingly and consumingly adorable and if I try to describe it all you'd be bored. That being said, let me share a few choice moments with my sweet little bug (her nickname, derived from bug-a-boo).

The other day she came out and announced that she was going to play baseball, and then changed into this outfit. How she knows what baseball players wear is beyond me, since we don't watch much of that around here...which is maybe how the diaper came into play as part of the "uniform."

What is there really to say about this one? A princess skirt and an empty wipe box=hours of entertainment for a two year old on a rainy day.

She has finally overcome her apathy/irritation with Matthew for coming along and stealing some of the glory around here. Now she is crazy about him! And the feeling is mutual. He is grins and giggles every time she walks in the room. She has become an invaluable asset when I am trying to get something done around the house and he is fussing. I just tell her to go talk to Matthew and make him happy and she is on it! She sings, dances, spits (my personal favorite - yuck) anything to make him happy.

I am so incredibly entertained by this little sassy number you've got going on in your house. I think I tell you this every time, but I LOVE the magic of motherhood column. Hilarious!
