Matthew learned how to play peek-a-boo. He ducks his little sweet head down under the edge of his carseat and pops it back up with a huge grin. Melts my heart every time.
Matthew sat up by himself for the first time on Christmas Day.
Emma unrolled the entire roll of toilet paper. The first time she did it, I was almost glad. It's kind of a childhood rite of passage, you know? The second time she did it I was more irritated than amused.
Emma went to her first Chuck E. Cheese birthday party. It was during her nap time and she ended up being all shy and tired and sitting on her daddy's lap the whole time, but she still talks with great enthusiasm about "Kuck E. Teese."

Dearest Amanda, Good reading, and made me smile. You're a great mom and it is wonderful when you can see the humor in situations...even if it is only later! I love you, MOM
