Please keep us in your prayers.
Yesterday we found out that our little Emma has diabetes. She is in the hospital right now and probably will be until Sunday. She is going to be OK, but they are trying to get her blood sugar under control. She is on the same floor as the baby and I, but they are keeping us all separate because they don't want the baby around all the sick kids in the peds unit. Matthew is staying with my parents. I have never felt so torn between the needs of my children. Please just say prayers for us.

Oh Amanda, I'm so so glad I got to chat with you this morning. I've just been thinking nonstop about you guys and praying for you. I'm so happy Emma is going to be okay, and I know that your sweet family is going to be taken care of in EVERY way possible. Love you!!!!!
I'm so sorry to hear about Emma. I totally can't even believe it. Your family will definitely be in our prayers.
Oh Amanda. What a difficult thing to find out right after the birth of Sophie. I'll keep you in my prayers. I hope everything turns out well. Love ya!
Amanda, I'm so sorry! I know you were concerned about Emma and were going to have her looked at at her next check-up so what happened so that you found out now? I won't bother while you're in the hospital but expect my call next week. We'll be praying!
take care...it sounds like things are going to be tough for a while.
i will keep you guys in my prayers!
Congratulations on Sophie. She is adorable!
I cannot believe that Emma has diabetes. That is so crazy and scary! I was diagnosed when I was 13. It is a rough thing to deal with, but I know you guys will be ok. Let me know if you need anything. I'd be totally willing to talk to you or Emma about things.
I'll definitely be praying for all of you!
Amanda - It's a bitter sweet time for you right now. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Everything will be O.K. We love you!!
Wow, we'll definitely keep you and your family in our prayers! What a difficult thing to be going through!
Caleb's daughter (from KOTM) has diabetes and his wife would be a great person to talk to if you need it!
And, honestly I'm happy you got induced ( I was just teasing about cheating)! I hope the arthritis calms down. I had some issues with it during my last pregnancy but it disappeared afterwards...hopefully yours will too?!?!
I am sorry to hear about Emma. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Congrats on your cute litte baby girl!
I completely understand about being torn between the needs of your family. When Josh and Addison were in their accident, I really didn't know where to be at any given moment. I felt like I was running in circles trying to do the right thing at the right time. I'm so sorry things are so hard right now. We'll keep praying...
First of all, congratulations on your new baby, that's awesome! Good job, she's such a cutie. Second of all, I'm sorry you're going through such hard stuff right now, the timing is not nice! It's going to be a lot to get used to but I know you can do it (mainly because you're so awesome!), it just takes time to get there. Give Emma big ol' hugs when you can, she's a trooper. We will be praying for you. And good luck settling in with that new baby!
Amanda! I am so sorry! I will be praying for you. I'll call you soon.
I will pray too! Anything I can do? Erin had her baby this morning and told me about your situation. I hope you are all home soon.
Amanda, not sweet little Emma. I am thinking of you and your sweet family. I hope everything is going okay and the drs are taking good care of all of you.

Oh Amanda I'm so sorry. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you to all be divided. I will pray for you. Lots of love, Amy
