I Believe in Holidays and Birthdays

I've realized lately that years from now, should posterity look back at this little blogola, they may think I am a Jehovah's Witness as I seem to never write about any sort of vacation or holiday. Christmas, Halloween? Trips we take? Not on here. I think it just takes all my energy to get through said holiday/vacation and then writing about it falls by the wayside.

It is this realization that has me determined to write in painstaking detail about our recent trip to San Diego. Our last hurrah before Jonny leaves. So feel free to skip ahead if you don't relish rambling a la moi.

So that's starting tomorrow. Today I would like to say that Miss Sophie turned one a few weeks ago and I was so happy that Jonny was home to celebrate with us!

And Miss Emma had her second dance performance and Jonny happened to be in town for that too! Last year he was in Morocco...but this year he got to see Emma as a flower in her studio's performance of Hansel & Gretel.

Emma is such a sass! I'm so glad that your Johnny is home right now. I need to call so we can catch up but I'll try not to take your precious time with Johnny away so I'll call you later.

I can't even believe Sophie is 1!!! "Tomorrow" has come and gone and there are still no pictures of your vacation and I would LOVE to see your pictures. Love to you all!

I am so glad that you are a believer! Your kids are so cute, and you look cute in that picture too! I love Emma's flower costume. She looks darling. I can't believe that Sophie is getting so grown up. I can't wait to see all of you soon!
