There is a darling little old man near here who grows pumpkins each year and sells them from his front yard. He must make a killing - every time we drive by that place is hopping. The kids have been dying to go get some so we ventured over the other day. They were giddy and still want to go out on the front porch every morning to inspect the pumpkins and "make sure the bad guys didn't take them." Matthew calls them "ponekins." Please bless he never learns to say it the right way. OK, maybe not never, but at least not for a couple of years... Matthew told me, "Now we need to put a fire in them and give them a happy face!"

Please note: It was crazy hair day at school. Matthew's hair is not always so...big.

Happy Halloween!

Now that's a cute little family!
We always stop by that guys place too! Love Matty's bandana! Also next time you go bra shopping please call me I will watch the kids! Although it sounds like they had more fun caressing things then they would have had playing with my children!
oh so cute. Love to see everyone happy and smiling.
My kids just loved "skyping" with jonny.
I just found your blog from the Princess and the Pump. Sorry if I am a total stalker! I just wanted to say hi. We have a little boy, Aiden, who is 3.5 and was just diagnosed with Type 1 in August, and a 5 year old daughter, Emma.:)Aiden was diagnosed on the night before she started Kindergaten. CRAZY! Love your blog! It is nice to read posts from someone who has "been there, done that." Thanks!
For some reason I don't have your email address anymore so I'll answer your running questions here. here's what I did for my caffeine intake during the marathon. You would probably want to adjust or maybe do a little less for the 1/2. I had a gu roctane (it's the Gu gel but it's a new kind called roctane. Make sure you don't get the pineapple flavor. It doesn't have caffeine.) around mile 18 and an Excedrin around mile 19. At mile 22 I drank a 5 hour energy. I was a little nervous because I have never taken excedrin or any energy drink, but it ended up being just fine. I guess a lot of caffeine can make you more dehydrated, but I was drinking a ton of water so I wasn't worried about that really. I think I am actually going to have a little more caffeine a little earlier on during my next one. The lady that told me to do all that stuff just said to do it when you are hitting that wall. It totally helped me get over that and feel like I could keep going. So, I guess for a 1/2 you would just do it earlier on and maybe not all of those things. I'm jealous you're running it. It sounds like fun. Email me if this doesn't make sense or if you have any other questions. aubrey_zaruba@hotmail.com
Way cute pictures! You told me that Sophie was walking - but it is different to actually see the proof! I love Matty's big hair! That last picture is great and you look hot Amanda!
