Today our sweet boy is one year old. I cannot believe it has gone by so fast! He is such a joy to have in our family. He is a determined little fellow with no fear. He is absolutely crazy about Emma and shrieks with laughter when she plays with him. He loves to wave and clap his hands. He says some words and is starting to copy a lot of new words. He is also starting to have a lot of big boy attitude!
He was born at 4:02am - apparently he wanted to be up to celebrate the actual time of his birth, because at 3:30 this morning he woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep until 5:30! Usually we put that child to bed at 7pm and don't hear a peep from him until 6:30am. Now instead of "Perky Party Mommy" he has grumpy "Where can I get some Visine and a Red Bull?" mommy...oh well. Happy Birthday Matthew - we love you!
