By the time Jonny got home I was in the kitchen crying/praying for the strength not to just scream at Emma. It didn't take him long to realize he was in the presence of a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He saved me. Just like he does pretty much every day! He took the kids in Emma's room and played with them for an hour, cleaned her room, made Emma dinner and got her to eat it (which is a miracle in and of itself). He helped me bathe them and get them to bed. What a dream. If it weren't for him, I would be even crazier than I already am! Thank you for taking such good care of all of us Jonny. I love you!

My Knight in Shining Armor
Yesterday I was having one of those days. One of those, "Is my whole purpose in life to do dishes, do laundry, clean up yet another potty training accident, pick up the same toys 18 times, and spend the day arguing with a defiant three year old?" kind of days.
By the time Jonny got home I was in the kitchen crying/praying for the strength not to just scream at Emma. It didn't take him long to realize he was in the presence of a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He saved me. Just like he does pretty much every day! He helped me bathe them and get them to bed. What a dream. If it weren't for him, I would be even crazier than I already am! Thank you for taking such good care of all of us Jonny. I love you!

I know exactly how you feel....and unfortunately I think that is our purpose!!!!!! I'm glad you have a good man to help you out with it all! A special man even clues into that....they ususally have to be told to help!
Kudos to your husband. I can relate. I think it is the potty training that really put a woman over the edge?
Yay for good husbands! :) I can't wait to get caught up with you, it has been too long!
jonny really is so good at tuning into those things. it's amazing how that can make such a difference for our sanity. the gesture and the time alone.
How sweet! It is always great to get some help, especially on the days that we can't take it much longer. Glad he helped save the day!
