Some events have transpired in the last couple of days that illustrate the sad state of things in my little world:

1. Yesterday I wore a pair of Jonny's gym socks to church (they were under boots, who could know?) and Matthew wore a pair of Emmas. Fear not, they were plain white ones. I just can't seem to give a darn about doing laundry these days and everything else was in the dirty clothes hamper.

2. Today I actually gave myself a little pat on the back for making my children a box of Macaroni & Cheese as opposed to making Easy Mac. Like one is better than the other or something.

My self prescribed remedy is as follows:

1. Get husband back (only 16 more days!)

2. Must find some sunshine.

Oh Amanda, I am soooo exicted for your husband to be back with you. I bet you are just dying. I was at the same phase as you when Wes went to basic - pregnant with two little kids and very lonely!
I am very proud of you for making real macaroni and cheese. At least they are getting fed, right? :)
Two more weeks . . .

Oh my sweet Amanda! You are almost there! And whatever happened to that sun lamp you used to have. I've thought about getting one for myself. Why doesn't the sun shine here? Just close your eyes and think of a happy place!

You crack me up Amanda! Hang in there. The end is near! Wait a minute, that sounds bad. Your husband will be home soon. Then you can colapse into his arms and have a good cry! You look beautiful by the way! That picture speaks volumes. I love it!

Never fear -- I have worn Marc's socks for 3 days in a row. And his fleece. AND, my child has had mac-n-cheese for the past 3 days. I've only got one kid though, and my husband will be home tonight at 7. I have absolutely no excuse.

P.S. You are looking so beautiful and radiant!

Congrats on getting your hubby back soon - it is so great to be a family again but it takes a little to get back into the swing of a 2 parent household - not the it is unwelcomed. What are you guys doing next? Dan is in Korea for the next 2 weeks - we are loving St. George. Anyway - congrats
