And then we decided to go bowling for FHE at BYU and eat at the Wilkinson Center. No cooking dinner for me AND bowling? Who could ask for more?
When we first got there Matthew was running all over like a crazy man and then smashed Emma's hand between two bowling balls and somehow it was bleeding too and I thought we were crazy for taking the wild animals anywhere. But really we ended up having a dreamy time and it definitely cured me of the blahs!
How is it that we can put a man on the moon, but no one can come up with a better bowling shoe?

Isn't that a great FHE. Nothing like bowling with the kiddos. They never had those cool ball guide thingys when I was a kid.

We don't go very often, but when we do the kids love it. A good cure for the blahs I suppose. Glad you're feeling somewhat better. As for the shoes, well the tie ones are cuter. Do you remember when they were all the craze?
Man I miss that place - I love taking Bryce bowling - we haven't gone in a long time - we jsut do it on the Wii now - you are brave 3 kids plus bowling balls can be scary - thank goodness for the ramp rolling thing or on game would last 4 EVER!!!!
Good point about the shoes. Those things are the worst. I still want to come visit. Is everyone feeling better? How's this week looking?
Yay! Sophie is getting so big and cute! She has changed so much! And, you are looking mighty trim, cuz! Your little family is cute. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to Lara's shower -- I would have liked to see you all!
A good reminder about taking joy in the journey! Rarely do any of our family outings go smoothly and perfectly, but we have to cherish the beautiful moments that are interspersed with the madness! I am glad that in the end you had a good time and got rid of those nasty blahs!
Awww, bowling--my enemy! Ben loves to bowl and I...not so much! So Alyssa and I will be in Utah on the 18th and Betsy is putting together a little get together with Andrea and Aubrey and I would love to see you too! So hook up with one of them and get the info!!!
yay! who could ask for more...no cooking and bowling! traske gave me a bowling ball and the girls ask me all the time when they can get their own. they want to have a muir team.
